Some friends invited us out to their house in Long Island for the Fourth. They promised the place was a bastion of shoot locations and they weren't wrong.

Darenzia and barely scratched the surface of usable places. I've posted one photo so far and more will be coming. She posted three photos in her blog: [link]

Oh yeah. My mood says "Sadness" but I can't change it.

I've been watching Meet the Press as a podcast for the last couple of years. I'm really quite sad about Mr. Russert's passing.

I've been quite busy lately and haven't been able to process the photos I've been taking.

Thanks to all who have been favoriting the old stuff. There is tons of stuff coming.

I've updated the print sizes of Setting Sun #1.

I wish I could have done this when the print was a Daily Deviation but I left for Germany that day and returned home last night.

I only have a second to write and then I have to work but today I got a Daily Deviation!

I woke up and checked my account and was sure DA was having a problem with their servers. I'd never had so many comments and favorites over the course of a night. Honestly, last night was about 15-20 days of my average activity and it's still rolling in.

I went to wake my wife up and tell her. She was thrilled but groggy... but not in that order.

I had to leave for work before I could figure otu what was going on. It took my morning bus ride hunched over my iPhone to even begin finding out what a "DD" was. AT&T is slow.

So... thank you to piratephoto [link] and opiod [link] for this. I'll have to read about the process later to find out what "Featured By" means. "Suggested By" makes enough sense.

I received word this week that Atsuko Kudo ([link]) will be using my photo At The Beauty Bar 1 for a post card to advertise their clothing. A can't tell you how excited I am by this.

Additionally, if you open the new Marquis Magazine and flip two pages in, you'll see the advertisement for Fetish Evolution [link] spanning two full pages. Those are my photos.

You know, I've been officially part of Deviant art for 2+ years and I just found my comments section today.

It was like finding a unopened Christmas present from months or years ago. I'm not sure how I missed it. I guess I saw the picture comments and journal comments before but not the portfolio comments.
